Designed and constructed by C&BD, this second dwelling at the rear of an existing home also incorporated garages for each. At just twelve metres wide and ten metres deep, this is an excellent example of infill housing. The development was set back just half a meter from the lane to allow for turning circles into the new garages.

Art and design in the detailing reflect the emerging culture of the locale.
Open space is provided by two large balconies and a roof top garden.
A feeling of light and space predominates over the tight dimensions and the overlooking constraints.
Pedestrian access to the new dwelling is from the rear laneway. Vehicular access for both the new and existing dwellings was also created despite the narrow block.
