The dark and closed-in interiors of this period home were given an exciting boost with the alterations and additions designed by C&BD. The northern rear aspect was taken full advantage of by relocating the service areas and adding an open-plan extension. Large bi-fold doors between the new living area and the deck enable the entertaining area to be seamlessly extended.

Highlight windows running the full length of the new extension bring in an abundance of natural light as well as provide a leafy outlook courtesy of trees in the adjacent park.
The original bathroom was enlarged via a small sideways extension, which allowed the inclusion of a feature corner window with butt-joined glass over the bath.
The 60mm thick natural stone benchtop runs seamlessly into the glass splashback window.
